We are looking for a Presales Engineer with a strong technical orientation in cybersecurity and networking, 2–4 years of customer-facing experience (e.g., presales, training, or consulting), and a willingness to travel. The ideal candidate should be presentable, energetic, and able to build strong client relationships. Experience in elite military technology units such as 8200 or 81 is a plus, as is hands-on familiarity with security tools like SIEM.
Responsibilities
- Run Engaging Demos
o Conduct technical and non-technical demonstrations of cybersecurity solutions tailored to diverse stakeholder audiences, including CISOs, CIOs, and IT/Security leaders.
- Own and Conduct POC Processes
o Lead the Proof of Concept (POC) process, from initial setup to final evaluation, ensuring client success and satisfaction.
- Industry & Competitive Awareness
o Stay informed about industry trends, emerging cybersecurity threats, and competitor solutions to provide informed recommendations and maintain a competitive edge.
- Technical Advisory Role
o Serve as a trusted technical advisor, guiding key decision-makers (CISOs, CIOs, IT/Security leaders) on how to address their cybersecurity challenges and achieve their strategic goals.
- Collaboration with Product and Engineering Teams
o Partner with internal teams to design and implement complex solution architectures, ensuring alignment with client needs and technical feasibility.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Technical Orientation:
o Strong foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, and threat landscapes.
o Ability to quickly grasp complex technical systems and articulate their value to clients.
- Customer-Facing Experience:
o 2–4 years in client-facing roles, such as presales, training, consulting, or customer success.
o Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to Travel:
o Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to meet client and business needs.
- Language Skills
o Fluency in English is essential. Additional fluency in languages like French, German, or Spanish is a significant advantage.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center)
o Hands-on experience or knowledge of SOC workflows, incident response, and threat management.
- Hands-on Experience with Security Tools
o Familiarity with tools like SIEM (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), endpoint protection platforms, vulnerability assessment tools, or similar technologies.
- Military Technology Unit Background
o Service in units such as 8200 or 81, with exposure to cybersecurity or networking technologies.
- Certifications
o Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA (Security), CompTIA Security+, or GIAC certifications.
- Knowledge of Advanced Cybersecurity Technologies
o Understanding or experience with emerging trends like AI-driven security solutions, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), or advanced threat detection.
- Cloud and Operational Technology (OT) Knowledge
o Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing OT environments, such as ICS/SCADA systems.
