Bookkeeper & Payroll Controller
About The Position
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Payroll controller to join our finance team. This role will report directly to the VP of Finance and play a critical part in shaping our finance operations and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all financial aspects in a global, fast-paced environment.
The Bookkeeper & Payroll Controller will play a pivotal role in managing the financial processes, ensuring compliance with local and global regulations, and supporting the company’s day-to-day operations. This is a full-time position with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and innovative company.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day recording of financial transactions, including AP, AR, journal entry posting, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Responsibility for account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Manage Israeli payroll processes and oversee work of external payroll provider and pension agents
- Manage the complete AP cycle, including setting up new vendors, processing invoices, and executing payments.
- Manage monthly statutory submissions (ITA, Social Securities, and VAT).
- Monitor company travel expenses and track related invoices and payments.
- Assist with corporate audit and other financial reporting requirements as needed.
Requirements
- Certified level 3 Bookkeeper and certified payroll controller
- At least 4-5 years of experience, including experience in a global company
- NetSuite knowledge and experience – an advantage
- High-level proficiency in English (both written and spoken) - a must.
- Strong understanding of multi-currency financial environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in the Tech industry - an advantage
- Experience working with technological financial tools as Dokka, Spend management, AP Automation etc.
